Il 70% della popolazione mondiale non ha ancora usato un telefono. REVOLUTION crede che cio' non sia giusto e lotta per mezzi di comunicazione gratuiti per tutti.

Mass Media
La proprieta' privata dei mass media ha vari risvolti negativi:

- Conflitti d'interesse tra giornalisti che vogliono riportare notizie accurate e le corporazioni che controllano o finanziano i mass media.

- Una stampa e televisione non rapresentative perche' non esrimono l'opinione pubblica, dei giovani, delle donne e della classe lavorativa, ma quella della borghesia.

Background

From 2003 onwards we have sought to develop Revolution as an international organisation. We have united around a common political programme, and developed an international leadership, we have also developed an orientation to the resistance to neo-liberalism and addressed that resistance with the call for a revolutionary youth international to lead and organise the struggle of youth.

1. At the conference in Vienna in 2005 we set ourselves the task of developing an authoritative, international, political leadership for Revolution based on a democratic centralist constitution.

Introduction

There is much at stake the international conference, not least because of the importance of the conjuncture in world politics that sees an increasing mobilisation of the masses in struggle while these movements are gripped by an immense crisis of leadership.
