Fascists and Police Routed in Dresden
Just like in the years before, fascists mobilized to their march in Dresden, alluding to the bombing of the city by the Allies in World War I. While in 2009 about 7,000 fascists gathered, and in 2010 about 6,000, last year’s successful blocking of the stampede bore fruits. This year, “only” about 3,000 fascists, racists, and other backward-oriented followers came to Dresden to shout their inhuman slogans through the streets.

Campaigning work of Swedish section of REVOLUTION, October-December 2008
October 08
During October 2008 REVOLUTION Sweden kept fighting to make the capitalists pay for the crisis and not the workers. Only in September 9000 Swedish workers got fired. And the best response the Social Democrats can come up with is that more money should be put on education. Not one word on how to save the jobs through strikes and occupations. We say: Let the rich pay! Many young workers are thrown out to a job market without jobs.

Campaigning work of Austrian section of REVOLUTION, August - September 2008
Once again 2 months where we fought for Revolution. What happened in that time?
We, young revolutionaries, were witnesses of the birth of new “Linke” (Left).
“Linke” out now!
What?
Yes! Because the SPÖ, the social democrats in Austria, the official labour party, is going through a crisis. Since decades they do not fight any more for the workers, but for their own privileges in capitalism. More and more workers recognise that. The number of SPÖ-members today is the lowest since 1918.
