May 2009

This month started off with a great May 1 demonstration in the sunny Stockholm. We had a really lively section in a demonstration arranged by the Swedish Left Party. The rest of the month was marked by intense and successful work inside the Network Against Racism. Every Saturday we had town meetings on different locations in and around Stockholm. We are trying to make the Network Against Racism a real broad working class and youth network. On June 6 the network will arrange a large demonstration against the right and extreme right. But our idea is to make the network a useful tool for fighting racists and fascists all year long.
